Plants
- Jar strained tomatoes
- 2 small red onions, diced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tsp cilantro
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp parsley
- ¼ tsp white pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Technique
Simmer onions and spices in a small amount of water until onions translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Add strained tomatoes. Fill jar with a little water and shake to get out the rest of the tomatoes and add to soup. Bring to a boil then simmer for a couple minutes. Add garlic and simmer a couple minutes more. Serve steaming hot.
