Buckwild Black Bean Burger
Simple yet buckwild take on the veggie burger.
Plants
- 2 cups cooked* black beans
- 1 cup regular rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp chipotle powder
- 1 tbsp cilantro
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp marjoram
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup water/homemade vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp flaxseed meal
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 cup large button mushrooms, diced
Technique
Combine the flaxseed meal with 3 tbsp water and set aside. Mix all remaining ingredients together and stir in the flaxseed meal. Add more water/broth if the mixture is too dry. Form into patties and bake on parchment paper or a silicon baking sheet at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
